By 2025, achieve the goal of having at least 3,000km of expressway

On May 10, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh , Head of the State Steering Committee for important national projects and works, key to the transport sector (SC), concluded the 17th meeting of the SC.

Information at the meeting showed that in the coming time, the agencies are determined to resolutely implement the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong Railway Project, ensuring conditions for the project to start construction at the end of 2025. At the same time, this May, the railway link with China will be reconnected. In 2025, the goal of putting 3,000km of expressway into operation must be completed, the expressway from Cao Bang to Ca Mau must be opened, and 1,000km of coastal road must be completed.

Regarding aviation, ensure the basic completion of the Long Thanh International Airport project in 2025; focus on completing airports: Expanding Noi Bai Terminal 2; Con Dao, Ca Mau, Chu Lai, Mang Den airports, Dong Hoi Airport Terminal 2, etc.

The Ministry of Construction, Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Long An will coordinate with the Ministry of Finance to promptly complete the project dossier to adjust the pre-feasibility study report of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau project and the feasibility study report of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 project to submit to the National Assembly. In particular, the Cao Lanh - An Huu project must be inaugurated no later than December 19.

For public-private partnership projects, procedures should be quickly resolved. If there are any problems, the National Assembly should be proposed to use one law to amend many laws at the 9th session, promoting the implementation of projects in the spirit of Resolution 68 of the Politburo on private economic development.

The State Bank will soon deploy a VND500 trillion credit package for strategic infrastructure, science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

Regarding construction, it is necessary to work in the spirit of "overcoming the sun, overcoming the rain, not losing to storms", "eating and sleeping quickly", "working at night when the day is not enough", "working in 3 shifts, 4 shifts", "going through holidays, Tet, and days off" to speed up the construction progress, striving to complete the project ahead of schedule.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister noted the need to quickly fix the problem at Tan Son Nhat T3 terminal.
