Nam Giang strengthens many solutions to prevent and fight forest fires

Mr. Dinh Van Cuong, Deputy Director in charge of Nam Giang Forest Protection Management Board, said that in order to raise people's awareness in forest management and protection (FPM) as well as PCCCR, the Board's FPM stations have organized the signing of commitments for nearly 400 households. In addition, they have carried out inspections and cleared billboards promoting forest protection and PCCCR along residential roads in the district.

“The QLBVR stations also regularly maintain forest protection propaganda to raise people's awareness of forest protection and PCCCR. The unit has directed the QLBVR stations to coordinate with the People's Committees of communes, towns, People's Committees of villages and residential groups to regularly propagate and integrate content into meetings of villages and residential groups,” said Mr. Cuong.

At the same time, specialized departments will develop and implement the 2025 Fire Prevention and Control Plan in a suitable, practical and effective manner; synchronously deploy fire prevention and control solutions; absolutely not be subjective, negligent, or lose vigilance; strive to prevent forest fires from occurring; focus on receiving, grasping and processing information on fire prevention and control; at the same time, always be ready in terms of forces, means, tools, etc. to participate in responding when a forest fire occurs.

Nam Giang RPH Management Board also focuses on coordinating with local authorities and functional forces in the process of PCCCR.
