According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the world gasoline and oil market in this management period (from August 21 to 27) is affected by main factors such as: The US increases taxes on imported goods from India; US crude oil reserves decrease more sharply than forecast information; the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues... The above factors have caused the world gasoline and oil prices in recent days to fluctuate up and down depending on each product.
In response to the developments in world gasoline and oil prices, the fluctuation of the VND/USD exchange rate and current regulations, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided not to set aside or use the Gasoline and Oil Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, and fuel oil.
The selling prices of popular gasoline and oil products on the market are as follows: E5RON92 gasoline is not higher than VND 19,771/liter (up VND 307/liter), lower than RON95-III gasoline by VND 592/liter; RON95-III gasoline is not higher than VND 20,363/liter (up VND 271/liter).
Diesel 0.05S is not higher than VND 18,357/liter (up VND 452/liter); kerosene is not higher than VND 18,225/liter (up VND 411/liter) and mazut 180CST 3.5S is not higher than VND 15,260/kg (up VND 144/kg).
