Gasoline prices fell across the board during the October 9 management period.

From 3:00 p.m. on October 9, gasoline and oil prices were simultaneously adjusted down, RON95-III gasoline decreased by 480 VND/liter, selling price not higher than 19,729 VND/liter.

Specifically, after the adjustment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, E5RON92 gasoline is not higher than 19,138 VND/liter (down 486 VND/liter compared to the current base price); RON95-III gasoline is not higher than 19,729 VND/liter (down 480 VND/liter compared to the current base price).

Oil prices are also adjusted downwards, diesel 0.05S is not higher than 18,604 VND/liter (down 434 VND/liter compared to the current base price); kerosene is not higher than 18,434 VND/liter (down 571 VND/liter compared to the current base price); fuel oil 180CST 3.5S is not higher than 14,808 VND/kg (down 562 VND/kg compared to the current base price).

During this operating period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not make provisions and did not spend from the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for all products.

In the previous adjustment period, E5RON92 gasoline increased by 6 VND/liter, the selling price was not higher than 19,624 VND/liter. RON95-III gasoline was not higher than 20,209 VND/liter (up 44 VND/liter). Oil prices were also adjusted up, accordingly, diesel 0.05S was not higher than 19,038 VND/liter (up 380 VND/liter); kerosene was not higher than 19,005 VND/liter (up 377 VND/liter); fuel oil 180CST 3.5S was not higher than 15,370 VND/kg (up 161 VND/kg).

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world oil market in this operating period (from October 2, 2025 to October 8, 2025) is affected by main factors such as: OPEC+ announced an increase in oil production in November but the increase was lower than expected; global oil demand tends to weaken; the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues, Ukraine continues to increase attacks on Russia's energy facilities... The above factors have caused world oil prices in recent days to fluctuate up and down depending on each product, but the downward trend is mainly.

The average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period on October 2, 2025 and the adjustment period on October 9, 2025 is: 76.138 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5RON92 gasoline (down 2.578 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 3.28%); 78.322 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (down 2.366 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 2.93%); 86.298 USD/barrel of kerosene (down 3.088 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 3.45%); 87.660 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel oil (down 2.308 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 2.57%); 392,696 USD/ton of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (down 19,100 USD/ton, equivalent to a decrease of 4.64%).
