Nam Sach completed handling 273 violations of irrigation works, 4 months earlier than required.

By August 31, all cases of violations of irrigation works in Nam Sach district had been handled according to regulations, 4 months earlier than the province's request (before December 31, 2024).

Through review, in Nam Sach district, there were a total of 193 violations before July 1, 2018. Of these, 59 cases involved building permanent houses, 22 cases involved building temporary houses, 23 cases involved building surrounding walls... By August 31, Nam Sach District People's Committee had cleared 6 violations; the remaining 187 cases were specifically identified and recorded, allowing continued use but not expansion or structural changes (according to the provisions of the Law on Irrigation).

For 79 cases of violations after July 1, 2018, all have been cleared (40 cases were cleared in August alone).

In addition, a violation case that occurred in 2024 in Nam Hong commune due to pouring concrete to build a road through the irrigation canal of Dun village pumping station was directed by the District People's Committee to make a record and clear it on May 28.

Thus, 273 cases of violations within the protection scope of irrigation works in Nam Sach district have been handled.

In order to maintain this result, the People's Committee of Nam Sach district requires communes, towns, and specialized agencies to regularly conduct inspections and supervision, and not to be negligent in allowing violations to recur. Any locality that allows re-violations will be considered a new violation and the head of the government will be responsible to the Chairman of the District People's Committee.
