In the spirit of urgency, frankness and openness, Minister To Lam requested that the functional units of the two Ministries focus on discussing, evaluating, analyzing difficulties, obstacles, causes and proposing solutions to effectively carry out the tasks of each Ministry in the contents related to the field of natural resources and environment.

Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh affirmed that the coordination between the two ministries in the past time has been very close and effective. For example, the Ministry of Public Security has contributed many ideas to support the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in the process of building the Land Law (amended). In the coming time, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment will develop many draft laws closely related to the Ministry of Public Security and believes that it will continue to receive attention, help and ideas from the Ministry of Public Security.
According to reports from the two ministries, in recent years, the coordination between the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the Ministry of Public Security has achieved important results, thereby contributing to the good implementation of the assigned political tasks of the two sectors, actively contributing to the cause of environmental protection, ensuring security and order, serving the socio-economic development of the country.
The functional agencies of the two Ministries have closely coordinated in implementing state management work on land management and use to carry out the task of protecting national security; Coordinated in environmental protection work; prevented and combated crimes in the environmental field; the two Ministries also continued to coordinate in preventing and combating crimes and violations of laws on minerals; in the field of hydrometeorology and responding to climate change...
In implementing Project 06, the two Ministries continue to coordinate in developing solutions to clean up data on land and housing information in the National Land Database; connect and authenticate with the National Population Database to serve the state management of land, housing, and real estate transactions; connect and share the National Land Database with the National Population Database. In addition, the two Ministries also strengthen the work of judicial appraisal, property appraisal, etc.
At the meeting, the specialized units of the two ministries discussed and resolved difficulties, enhanced cooperation in the content of the group of issues related to solving difficulties in the supply of land and sand mines to serve the construction of key national projects; discussed the group of issues related to planning, secure land use, and resolved difficulties in granting land use right certificates.
The Ministry of Public Security also requested the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to preside over the review to promulgate new or amend and supplement legal regulations on environmental protection in the process of implementing and applying the Law on Environmental Protection 2020; provide solutions and coordinate to solve problems of pollution in Bac Hung Hai canal, pollution in craft villages, etc.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Duy Ngoc noted a number of contents in the coordination work between the two ministries to serve the effective investigation of a number of cases related to natural resources and the environment. Representatives of the Office of the Criminal Police Agency, the Department of Environmental Crime Investigation and a number of functional departments of the Ministry of Public Security reported, recommended and proposed many contents related to the coordination work to ensure security in the field of natural resources and the environment.
Speaking at the meeting, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh sincerely thanked the Ministry of Public Security and General, Minister To Lam and Deputy Ministers of Public Security for their attention and support to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
Agreeing and affirming the need to build a coordination mechanism to more effectively resolve tasks related to the two ministries, Minister Dang Quoc Khanh exchanged information on some issues related to the exploitation and use of land and mineral resources and environmental protection in localities. On this occasion, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh also proposed that the Ministry of Public Security support some issues related to security assurance in the field of State management of natural resources and environment.
Concluding the meeting, General To Lam - Minister of Public Security highly appreciated the results of the meeting and the close and effective cooperation between the two ministries. Emphasizing the need to build and maintain a more effective coordination mechanism, especially in matters related to natural resources and the environment, Minister To Lam affirmed that the contents and proposals between the two units are being urgently implemented by the functional units of the two ministries with fast and effective progress.
