In the Northeast, it is also hot, with some places experiencing severe heat with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-37 degrees Celsius, some places above 37 degrees Celsius; the lowest relative humidity commonly ranging from 50-55%.

In the Southeast region, it is also hot with the highest daily temperature commonly 35-36 degrees Celsius, some places over 36 degrees. The lowest relative humidity commonly 50-55%.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from May 9, the heat wave in the Southeast region will gradually decrease and from May 10, the widespread heat wave will end in the North and Central regions.

Hanoi capital:

- Hot to very hot during the day, with some areas experiencing extreme heat. Scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night. Light winds. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

- Lowest temperature 25-28 degrees Celsius, some places below 24 degrees Celsius

- Highest temperature 35-38 degrees Celsius, some places over 38 degrees Celsius.

Northeast:

- Cloudy, hot during the day, some places will be very hot. In the evening and at night, there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places. Southeast to South wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

- Lowest temperature 26-29 degrees Celsius, mountainous areas below 24 degrees Celsius.

- Highest temperature 34-37 degrees Celsius, some places above 37 degrees Celsius.

Provinces from Thanh Hoa to Hue:

- During the day, it will be hot to extremely hot, with some places experiencing extremely hot weather. In the evening and at night, there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places. Southwest wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

- Lowest temperature from 26-29 degrees Celsius.

- Highest temperature 35-38 degrees Celsius, some places over 39 degrees Celsius.

Provinces from Da Nang to Binh Thuan:

- Cloudy, sunny day. Hot and very hot in the North. Showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night. South to Southwest wind level 2-3. Thunderstorms are likely to cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

- Lowest temperature from 25-28 degrees Celsius.

- The highest temperature recorded in the North of this area ranges from 35-38 degrees Celsius, some places above 38 degrees Celsius; in the South 33-35 degrees Celsius.

Central Highlands region:

- Sunny day, scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, scattered showers and thunderstorms at night. Light wind. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

- Lowest temperature 22-25 degrees Celsius.

- Highest temperature 31-34 degrees Celsius, some places above 34 degrees Celsius.
