National Action Plan on Domestic Violence Prevention and Control by 2025.

Strengthen communication on preventing and combating domestic violence, contributing to building happy families.

With the communication theme: "End violence, foster love", the National Action Month on Domestic Violence Prevention and Control in 2025 aims to enhance the role, responsibility and effectiveness of coordination at all levels and sectors from the provincial to local levels; thereby, mobilizing the combined strength of the entire political system and the entire population to participate in preventing and combating domestic violence. Promote communication work to raise awareness and responsibility of agencies, organizations and individuals on preventing and combating domestic violence, contributing to protecting women and children, and building happy families. The implementation of the Action Month must be carried out synchronously, ensuring efficiency, economy, and suitability to the actual situation at agencies, units and localities. Strengthen the application of information technology in propaganda, dissemination of laws, policies and implementation of activities in response to the Action Month.

Implementation period: From June 1 - 30, 2025.

Provincial departments, branches, unions, and People's Committees of districts and cities issue documents directing and guiding affiliated units to implement activities to prevent and combat domestic violence in response to the Action Month.

Depending on specific conditions, provincial departments, branches, unions, People's Committees of districts and cities consider and choose to organize communication activities in response to the Action Month, in the following forms: Organize or integrate the organization of the Action Month Launch Ceremony into related events. The organization time should be carried out before or on the opening day of the Action Month (June 1, 2025). Organize the Action Month Rally at a time convenient for mobilizing community participation. Coordinated activities can be organized at the same time as the rally to mobilize community participation and people such as: mass parades, walks, cycling, running competitions, festivals, art performances, etc.

Organize conferences, seminars, and training sessions in appropriate, practical, and economical forms, focusing on disseminating the following contents: Party guidelines and policies, State policies and laws on preventing and combating domestic violence. Acts of domestic violence; Prohibited acts in preventing and combating domestic violence. Rights and responsibilities of victims of domestic violence; Responsibilities of people who commit acts of domestic violence. Counseling and mediation in preventing and combating domestic violence. Reporting and denouncing acts of domestic violence. Measures to prevent acts of domestic violence and protect and support victims of domestic violence.

Commendation and reward for collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in preventing and combating domestic violence: Depending on specific conditions, provincial departments, branches, unions, People's Committees of districts and cities shall organize reviews, commendations, rewards, and encouragement for collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in preventing and combating domestic violence. Commendations and rewards for outstanding collectives and individuals in preventing and combating domestic violence must be selected publicly and democratically; the organization of commendations and rewards must ensure solemnity, practicality, efficiency, and economy.
