Two "Addresses in need of help" received 29 million VND in support from Thanh Nien Newspaper readers

Accordingly, at the People's Committee of Hoa My Dong Commune, Mr. Nguyen Ba Hoa, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the Commune, directly presented 17.6 million VND from Thanh Nien Newspaper readers to support Mr. Van Tan Duyet (36 years old, in Phu Nhieu village) and gifts from Phu Yen Newspaper. Mr. Duyet's wife passed away from a brain tumor, leaving behind 2 young children; he himself has chronic kidney failure and must undergo dialysis 3 times a week to prolong his life.

In Son Phuoc commune (Son Hoa district), Mr. Nguyen Van Chanh, Chairman of the Commune Fatherland Front Committee, also presented Ms. So Thi Yen (Tan Hien village) with 11.4 million VND from Thanh Nien Newspaper readers, along with a gift from Phu Yen Newspaper. Her husband has terminal nasopharyngeal cancer, and Ms. Yen is struggling to take care of her husband and 3 young daughters, including 6-month-old twins.

This is the second time that Thanh Nien Newspaper representatives have coordinated with Phu Yen Newspaper to give money from readers to help these two situations. Of which, Mr. Van Tan Duyet was supported twice with the amount of 100.8 million VND; Ms. So Thi Yen was supported twice with the amount of 105.4 million VND.
