Receiving and working with the delegation, Mr. Pham Van Triem, Chairman of the Provincial Association of Small and Medium Enterprises expressed his joy and emphasized that the meeting and working session was a very meaningful activity before the merger process of the three localities.

Mr. Triem commented that the merger is not simply a change in administrative boundaries but a convergence of potential, intelligence and economic strength. In this context, the business community is the vanguard, dynamic and closely following the socio-economic development practices of each locality. Therefore, it is very necessary for the two associations to "sit down" to recognize similarities, share experiences in managing members and build an effective and sustainable cooperation mechanism in the post-merger period.

“Ba Ria-Vung Tau province possesses many unique advantages such as a developed marine economy, a modern seaport system, a logistics center and a key energy industry. Therefore, when coming together, the business communities of the three localities can form a sustainable bloc, raising the position of new Ho Chi Minh City enterprises in the domestic and international markets. “The complementarity of potential and resources between the three localities will create a more dynamic and effective socio-economic ecosystem than ever before,” he emphasized. ”, said the Chairman of the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

The Chairman of HUBA informed that the association currently has more than 16,000 members, operating in dozens of local business associations. Among them, many large enterprises, headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, are investing in production and business in Ba Ria-Vung Tau. “Each member enterprise of the two associations has had connections and cooperation before. Now, the joint efforts between the business community will help make better use of existing resources, from finance, human resources to specific mechanisms,” said Mr. Hoa.

Mr. Hoa also emphasized that the unification of the development orientation of the Associations in the coming time needs to be carried out in a more synchronous and stronger direction, in a proactive spirit and "together we must increase our strength many times over".
