Raising the position of the Union in international relations

BHG - In the "Draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution", there are 2 contents related to the activities of the Vietnam Trade Union organization.

In particular, the draft amends and supplements the content of Article 9, defining the Vietnam Trade Union as a political-social organization under the Vietnam Fatherland Front, organized and operating uniformly within the Vietnam Fatherland Front; together with other member organizations of the Democratic Consultative Front, coordinating and unifying actions under the chairmanship of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

For Article 10, add the content that Vietnam Trade Union is the representative of workers at the national level in labor relations and international relations on Trade Unions.

Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor Tran Van Minh said: “The amendment and supplementation of a number of articles in the 2013 Constitution is very necessary, in accordance with the practical situation of the country. The activities of the Trade Union are placed within the unified activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, in accordance with the Politburo's resolutions on streamlining the organization and apparatus. In particular, the amendment and supplementation of Article 10 affirms the important and irreplaceable position of the Vietnam Trade Union in labor relations and international relations on Trade Unions.

In the coming time, the Provincial Federation of Labor will organize a conference to collect opinions from the team of specialized union officials to synthesize opinions to participate in the Draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution" and at the same time listen to the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers. It is hoped that along with the amendment and supplementation of a number of articles of the Constitution, other related legal documents will also be amended and supplemented in a timely manner so that the union organization can operate in a unified and synchronous manner when implementing the organization and apparatus arrangement.
