Ha Giang children proudly continue glorious tradition

BHG - After 84 years of establishment and development (May 15, 1941 - May 15, 2025), the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team (YTP) has become a strong organization, playing an important role in educating and nurturing the young generation of the country. Promoting the glorious tradition, Ha Giang children have overcome difficulties, strived to compete, achieved many achievements in studying, training, and building an increasingly strong Team organization.

Promoting the glorious tradition, Ha Giang children have overcome difficulties, strived to compete, achieved many achievements in studying, training, and building an increasingly strong Team organization.

Team member training programs are implemented in a variety of ways by the Team at all levels.

The work of the Young Pioneers and the children's movement under the guidance of the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Young Pioneer Council has implemented many key activities, creating an ideal environment for children to develop comprehensively. Comrade Luong Thi Thu Huong, Deputy Head of the School Youth Union, Provincial Youth Union said: In the past time, the Young Pioneer Councils at all levels have focused on effectively implementing the work program of the Young Pioneers and the children's movement, concretizing it according to monthly and continuous themes, creating a broad emulation campaign to meet the increasingly high requirements and aspirations of Young Pioneers and children in the whole province. Along with that, strengthening coordination with all levels and sectors, especially the Education sector in caring for, managing and educating teenagers and children, helping Young Pioneers and children in difficult circumstances. Thereby, the role and prestige of the Young Pioneers organization has been increasingly consolidated, meeting the requirements of building the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Organization in the new period.

The province currently has over 146,000 team members, teenagers and children. With a relatively large number, the Team Councils at all levels focus on improving the quality of activities, focusing on innovating content and methods, implementing solutions to take charge of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Team and protecting, caring for and educating teenagers and children according to the Resolution of the 17th Congress of the Youth Union at all levels and the Provincial Youth Union, term 2022 - 2027. Emulation activities are carried out enthusiastically and widely, typically the movements: Ha Giang children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings; building a strong Team; for beloved juniors... At the same time, creating a favorable environment for children to practice the teaching of "Love the Fatherland, love compatriots" through forums, meeting historical witnesses, and educating the sovereignty of the Fatherland. Up to now, 100% of the team bases have implemented the movement "My class hangs Uncle Ho's picture", and organized activities based on the theme "Every week a beautiful story, a good book, a shining example"... Thereby creating an exciting atmosphere for the team members and children to enthusiastically study and practice.

The Provincial Youth Union organized the Journey to the Red Address Program for Uncle Ho's Good Children delegates.

In recent times, the Youth Union at all levels has been interested in implementing the "Tran Quoc Toan" work, organizing for children to participate in activities to repay gratitude, mutual love, and help poor friends. In addition, to create an environment for children to compete in studying well, the Youth Unions have organized orientations to strictly implement school rules, maintain discipline during class hours, study voluntarily, and comply with school and classroom regulations. Youth Union members, teenagers, and children have also enthusiastically responded to the model of overcoming difficulties to study well, get good grades, and apply information technology, foreign languages, and social skills to serve healthy learning and entertainment. The Children's Council has focused on protecting the voices and legitimate rights of children, sending a delegation of outstanding children to attend the "Children's National Assembly" mock session.

With many exciting and practical activities, the Young Pioneers' work and the youth and children's movement in Ha Giang are considered one of the typical units in the Northern region. Young Pioneers at all levels have always been pioneers in initiating and effectively implementing many movements closely linked to reality, suitable to the psychology and development needs of children. Through the implementation of campaigns and emulation movements, every year, the whole province has more than 80,000 children achieving the title of Good Children of Uncle Ho at all levels. Among them, many excellent Young Pioneers' cadres, excellent students in all aspects, achieved high results in excellent student competitions, IOE competitions and persevered and made efforts to overcome difficulties. In 2024 alone, the Provincial Young Pioneers' Council honored and awarded the title of Good Children of Uncle Ho at the provincial level to 240 children. At the 10th National Congress of Good Children of Uncle Ho in 2025 held in Hanoi, our province had 7 delegates attending and being commended.

With many achievements, children in the far North of the country will have more motivation and determination to continue to strive, practice, study and follow the example of beloved Uncle Ho. The glorious tradition of the past 84 years is a solid foundation for the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers to reach out, meet the educational requirements in the new era, and build a generation of intelligent, brave, compassionate and responsible citizens.
