According to TASS , the anti-drone (UAV) gun - PARS-S “Stepashka” was first introduced by the Lokatsionnaya Masterskaya (Lokmas) company at the Specialized Equipment Exhibition 2023 held in Moscow last weekend.
A representative of Lokmas told TASS that PARS-S is designed to intercept and jam all types of conventional UAVs and small unmanned aerial vehicles (drones).
"PARS-S can jam most UAVs and dual-purpose drones currently on the civilian market, including micro-aircraft such as FPVs. The features of PARS-S can be expanded based on changing the configuration of the gun," said a representative of Lokmas.

Lokmas also said that the jamming power of PARS-S is much stronger than that of most unmanned aerial vehicles. This allows it to intercept any target.
"We can install from one to five antennas inside the PARS-S, and the gun can also use an extended auxiliary power source to increase the jamming power. Basically, the PARS-S can be upgraded without changing the basic design of the gun," the Lokmas representative emphasized.
According to Lokmas representatives, PARS-S is currently being tested in a number of units of the Russian army. Currently, the company's production line can produce hundreds of PARS-S guns per month.
Lokmas added that the PARS-S anti-UAV gun has an effective range of 1.5 km, weighs 9.6 kg, uses a basic 50W battery and can operate continuously for 2 hours. Soldiers can deploy the PARS-S on a tripod or handheld.
