The Provincial Social Policy Bank inspects the implementation of the housing support loan program in Nguyen Binh district - Cao Bang Electronic Newspaper

The working group of the Provincial Social Policy Bank Branch inspected the actual situation of households borrowing capital to build houses in residential group 4, Tinh Tuc town (Nguyen Binh).

To date, the total outstanding debt of policy credit programs in Nguyen Binh district has reached over 439.8 billion VND, with more than 5,500 customers still in debt. Of which, the housing support loan program under Decree 28/2022/ND-CP has a total outstanding debt of 16.4 billion VND, with 459 borrowers. In 2025 alone, the district was allocated 6.2 billion VND for this program; disbursement has reached nearly 80% of the plan; striving to complete 100% before May 31, 2025.

Previously, the delegation inspected the actual progress of housing construction in Tinh Tuc town. Up to now, Tinh Tuc town has a total outstanding debt of more than 56.5 billion VND, with 687 borrowing households. Since the beginning of the year, the District Social Policy Bank Transaction Office has disbursed 3.7 billion VND, supporting 50 households to borrow capital for economic development, including 5 households borrowing capital to build new houses according to Decree 28/2022/ND-CP of the Government. Through inspection, it was shown that households used the capital for the right purpose, clearly demonstrating the effectiveness of policy credit capital in improving living conditions. It is recommended that the district continue to effectively implement policy credit programs, helping people improve their lives, stabilize production, contributing to the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, reducing poverty sustainably and building new rural areas in the locality.
