On the afternoon of April 23, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a launching ceremony for the Campaign to support housing construction for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the province (referred to as the Campaign).

At the conference, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Pham Nguyen Hong launched the Campaign to support the construction of houses for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the province. At the same time, he emphasized that in recent years, with the attention and leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; the support and companionship of all levels, sectors, and organizations; the business community, philanthropists inside and outside the province actively responded and supported both materially and spiritually, helping thousands of poor households and families with difficulties in the province have more resources to build and repair houses, gradually stabilize their lives, escape poverty, and integrate into the common development of the community.

Implementing Directive No. 22-CT/TU dated March 30, 2024 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the Campaign to support housing construction for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the province in the two years 2024-2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has launched and called on all cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers in the whole sector, organizations, units, enterprises, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists to promote the tradition of solidarity, the spirit of "mutual love and support", "the whole leaf covers the torn leaf", "the torn leaf covers the more torn leaf" to participate in contributing and supporting poor families, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the province so that they can have solid houses, helping disadvantaged households gradually stabilize their lives and escape poverty.

This support not only contributes to creating conditions for the poor to "settle down", but also affirms the important meaning and noble humanity of Directive No. 22-CT/TU as well as a deep awareness of the importance of the Directive and the high responsibility in its implementation by the entire Culture, Sports and Tourism sector.

The "Movement to support housing construction for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the province in the 2 years 2024-2025" aims to strive for the goal that by September 30, 2025, the whole province will have at least 5,000 poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties supported to build and repair houses, contributing practically to welcoming the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
