On the morning of June 21, many streets in Thai Nguyen city were heavily flooded, with water levels rising up to 1 meter in some places. Many houses in low-lying areas were severely affected.

Faced with complicated weather developments, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Thai Nguyen province requested departments, branches, district and commune People's Committees to deploy urgent measures to respond to heavy rain, landslides, flash floods, and ensure the safety of irrigation works and dikes.

Units are required to closely monitor flood forecasts and warnings and promptly inform people to proactively prevent and avoid them. At the same time, prepare rescue forces and means on site. Proactively develop plans to prevent and combat natural disasters, minimizing damage during the 2025 flood season.
