Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul expressed his pleasure to meet Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the Conference and thanked the Prime Minister for calling and sending a congratulatory letter on the occasion of his election as Prime Minister of Thailand.
Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul affirmed that Vietnam is one of Thailand's important partners in Southeast Asia; he expressed his wish to cooperate with the Vietnamese Prime Minister to enhance comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.

The two Prime Ministers expressed their delight at the positive development of the Vietnam-Thailand relationship, especially the official upgrading of the relationship to Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in May 2025; and agreed to closely coordinate to build an Action Program to implement the bilateral relationship in the new period.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his deep condolences on the passing of Queen Mother Sirikit; highly appreciated Thailand's continued status as Vietnam's largest trade partner and second largest investment partner in ASEAN; suggested that both sides coordinate and strive to soon achieve the bilateral trade turnover target of 25 billion USD in a balanced direction, through facilitating further opening of the commodity market, removing obstacles; researching the establishment of joint ventures to jointly control prices, explore new markets, and at the same time strengthen cooperation in mutually beneficial fields, especially applying new technologies in cooperation in oil and gas exploitation, liquefied gas, etc.
The two leaders highly appreciated the importance of implementing the "Three Connectivity" Strategy on the basis of ensuring benefits and mutual benefits, especially supply chain connectivity, human resource training connectivity, and transportation and tourism connectivity; agreed to soon establish a Joint Working Group and develop an action program to discuss, develop the content and specific plans to implement this Strategy.

Discussing security cooperation, the Prime Minister reaffirmed the importance of strengthening coordination and information exchange in the fight against terrorist and reactionary organizations; ensuring that no individual or organization is allowed to use the territory of one country to fight against another.
The two leaders agreed to strengthen cooperation in education and training, people-to-people exchange, and local connectivity; promote cultural exchange programs, especially in the year commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (2026) to deepen understanding and connection between the two peoples, especially the young generation.
The Thai Prime Minister welcomed Vietnam's efforts in preventing illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing and agreed to coordinate and support Vietnam in improving its capacity to prevent IUU, towards removing the EU's "yellow card".
The two leaders agreed on the need to strengthen cooperation, maintain solidarity and unity within ASEAN; promote ASEAN's central role in international and regional issues, including the management and sustainable use of Mekong River water resources; ensure peace, stability, security, safety, freedom of navigation and aviation in the East Sea on the basis of international law, UNCLOS 1982; fully and effectively comply with the DOC and soon reach a Code of Conduct (COC).
