Research on building high-performance microchip simulation verification solutions

On the afternoon of October 17, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) of Hai Phong city held a meeting of the Advisory Council for selection to carry out the task of scientific research and technology development at the city level "Research and development of solutions for verifying simulation of high-performance microchips". The unit registered to preside over the task is BLOCKX Joint Stock Company. Comrade Pham Thi Sen Quynh, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology chaired the Conference.

At the Conference, the representative of the implementing unit presented the task description, focusing on the main contents: Researching the overview, clarifying the theoretical basis, the set of standards on functions and performance for microchip simulation verification tools; investigating and assessing the needs and current status of using simulation verification tools in microchip design training programs in Hai Phong city; analyzing and designing principle models and application programming models for high-performance microchip simulation verification solutions; programming development and building a framework of standard practice documents for high-performance microchip simulation verification solutions; deploying the application of high-performance microchip simulation verification solutions in microchip design training programs; forecasting the ability and proposing expansion plans for high-performance microchip simulation verification solutions.

In addition, the Council also requested the host unit to absorb, edit and complete the explanation of some contents, specifically: edit the task name to match the scope of the research; add an overview, clarify the differences and advantages of the solution compared to the verification tools currently on the market; describe in more detail the technical features and applicability of the software; expand the scale of the survey at universities and research institutes in the city; adjust the implementation time and budget and increase the number of participating personnel to ensure the progress and quality of the task; at the same time, it is necessary to build a specific implementation roadmap, clearly defining the stages of research, testing and product completion to ensure the feasibility and effectiveness of the project.

Concluding the Conference, Comrade Pham Thi Sen Quynh, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, requested the selected unit to seriously absorb the Council's comments and promptly complete the explanatory documents for the Department to synthesize and submit to the City People's Committee for consideration and approval according to regulations./.
