Unforgettable memories of singer Ngoc Son
At the Multidimensional Glass program, when sharing about this period, Ngoc Son revealed that the opportunity to come to the first music video was in 1997, when the male singer participated in a performance in a program in An Giang and was warmly received by the audience.
Also attending the event that day was musician Thế Hiển. During the conversation, the senior advised singer Ngọc Sơn to diversify his performance style. “He said that I sing bolero very well but I have to bring many new colors,” the male guest recounted the message from the author of Nhanh lan rung.
That suggestion inspired the male singer to take a new direction. After that, Ngoc Son, musician The Hien and another member decided to record the entire program as a souvenir. Unexpectedly, the video tape was extremely loved by the audience and was passed around to be copied, opening up opportunities for the male singer.

Ngoc Son said he "listens to many genres of music and finds young people singing well, softly and cutely."

Faced with that attraction, a music label invited Ngoc Son to record and he quickly became a phenomenon when he sold more than 100,000 CDs. According to the male artist, his voice at that time was considered romantic, combining the characteristics of his parents' homeland and the place where he lived in the South, so he was loved by everyone. After that, the singer of Last Night continued to cooperate with record labels such as Kim Loi, Mua Hong, Rang Dong... Ngoc Son's CDs and CDs sold very well, especially songs such as Tinh cha, Long ma, Cong tu Bac Lieu ... are still associated with Ngoc Son until now.
According to Ngoc Son, in the past, the process of producing video tapes was extremely difficult, it could take a whole week to complete because of waiting for suitable weather. Because the cameras were manual, the recording process had to be repeated many times. When editing the video, the whole crew had to meet, from the music to the director, the investor, if the product was not as expected, it had to be redone. Despite the difficulties, Ngoc Son was happy because he had memorable memories with these songs.
When asked about the current generation of young singers, Ngoc Son had many words of respect for the next generation. He shared: “I listen to many genres of music and find that young people sing well, softly and cutely. Their music is good and positive, with many different colors. They are also very creative when combining reformed opera or the North Central region's sound.”
