After a professional assessment and careful preparation of resources, the first kidney transplant at the Vietnam-Sweden Uong Bi Hospital was performed on April 8, using a donor who was declared brain-dead.
The transplant was performed by a team of doctors and medical staff specializing in kidney transplants at the Vietnam-Sweden Uong Bi Hospital, with professional support from experts at the Viet Duc Friendship Hospital.
