Mr. Dang Nguyen, Tan Duc village, Phuoc Huu commune (Ninh Phuoc) was elected by the people as NCUT in 2012. In his role, he always promotes a sense of responsibility in propagating and mobilizing ethnic minorities to change their way of thinking and doing business; applying science and technology to production and animal husbandry. In 1975, after studying at the provincial Agricultural Technical School, he worked locally and for a long time was the Captain of Production Team No. 7, Huu Duc Cooperative. Applying his professional knowledge, he "held hands and showed them", propagating and instructing people on how to care for and techniques for preventing pests and diseases on different crops. From this support, many people have become more skilled in production, the quality and productivity of crops have increased, and their lives have gradually stabilized. Currently, Mr. Nguyen is 75 years old, but he is still diligently researching and learning more knowledge about agriculture; At the same time, coordinate with the locality to propagate and mobilize people to deploy and replicate economically effective production models, especially the "Large Model Field" model of rice production associated with the "1 must, 5 reductions" farming method. He shared: In order for people to agree and believe in what I say, first of all, I and my family must take the lead. Therefore, in 2020, when the locality deployed the model, I responded, participated, applied and complied with the production processes and seasons, thanks to which, the rice yield increased to 65-70 quintals/ha. From this result, when mobilizing people, most of them agreed and responded. Up to now, the whole village has 50 hectares of rice implementing the "Large Model Field" model with more than 70 participating households. Comrade La Van Diem, Secretary of Tan Duc Village Party Cell, said: Over the years, Mr. Nguyen has always coordinated with the Party Cell and the Village Management Board to actively propagate the Party and State's policies and guidelines to local people. In particular, he has encouraged people to respond to emulation movements for labor and good production, and to replicate innovative models of livestock and crop farming to increase income. Thanks to that, up to now, the entire village has only 2% of poor households.

Share rice care techniques with ethnic minorities.
Or like Mr. Katơr Quỳnh, NCUT of Hanh Rac 2 village, Phuoc Binh commune (Bac Ai), realizing the advantages of the local climate and soil suitable for growing fruit trees, he pioneered in converting 2 hectares of corn and rice fields to grow green-skinned grapefruit combined with some fruit trees on the hills. After more than 7 years of investment, up to now, the model has helped his family become a rich household in the commune. With the accumulated experience in farming, he has mobilized the Raglai people in the commune to convert ineffective crops to grow crops with high economic value, thanks to which in the past 5 years, the area of fruit trees such as: green-skinned grapefruit, durian, rambutan, avocado, mango... in Phuoc Binh commune has grown to over 200 hectares. Not stopping there, he also encouraged people to build landscapes, take care of flowers on the roads, and protect the environment to create highlights for tourists when visiting and experiencing Phuoc Binh, contributing to creating more livelihoods for ethnic minorities as well as developing local tourism.
Mr. Ba Binh Yen, Deputy Head of the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee, said: With the ability to "speak and people believe, do and people follow", the NCUT team in our province is the core of local economic development; trusted, respected and trusted by the people. NCUT is both proactive and pioneering in building a household economic model, and orienting and helping local people to develop the economy, increase income, and sustainably reduce poverty; fully implementing mechanisms and policies to support livelihoods for local people. Thereby, the NCUT team has actively contributed to building the ethnic minority region in particular and the homeland of the province to become increasingly developed, civilized and modern.
