Besides giving the game "Boba Tea DIY Milk Tea Making" on the Play Store a 1-star rating , the account named Thien Tu also left the comment: "Condemning the nine-dash line." Meanwhile, the account named Thao Ngo wrote: "Games with the illegal nine-dash line should not be played."

Mr. Quang Phuc (residing in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City) believes that this game application should be boycotted and deleted immediately because it does not respect Vietnam's sovereignty in cyberspace.

According to our investigation, "Boba Tea DIY Milk Tea Making" is a puzzle application that does not require internet access. Users play the role of a milk tea shop owner and barista; they select cards labeled with ingredients such as milk, oranges, etc., and arrange them until they reach the required quantity.

This game has had over 500,000 downloads and 1,250 reviews to date.

According to information on the Play Store, "Boba Tea DIY Bubble Tea Making" was released on April 14, 2024, by an organization called Easetouch.

Upon accessing this organization's website, we found very vague information, only describing it as a "young and independent" organization that creates puzzle games for players worldwide . There was no information about where or when this organization was founded.

Furthermore, this website only features three Easetouch strategy and puzzle games currently available on Google Play: "Stickman War: Tower War Games", "Galaxy Squad: Airplane Games", and "Merge Bistro: Renovation Story", and does not include the aforementioned bubble tea making game.

Speaking to a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper, a representative of a game publisher in Vietnam said that Google Play is a huge app store, with millions of applications uploaded daily. Therefore, there are loopholes that illegal game developers can exploit to easily embed applications on the platform by hiding cheating or illegal features or concealing icons.

"Illegal games generate high profits for game publishers, not to mention advertising fees. To remove this app, users need to report it to the authorities and Google Play with evidence for removal," the representative said.

In addition, user awareness and proactive action regarding illegal information can help prevent such applications and publishers from developing.
