The dream "sower" in Mu Cang Chai

Graduated from the Faculty of History and Geography, Tay Bac University, in 2012, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Hue left Thac Ba town, Yen Binh district, Yen Bai province (before the merger), traveled a long distance to work at Mu Cang Chai High School. Far from home, and with a different living environment, but for Phuong Hue, that difficulty became a valuable experience, helping her to persevere in bringing her love of history to students in the highlands.

Ever since she was a student in the gifted student team of Thac Ba High School, Ms. Hue told herself: she must become a teacher, must pass on the flame of love for History and help students conquer exams like her teachers did for her. After more than 10 years of working in the profession, Ms. Hue has completely realized that dream.

Loving her job and having a desire to contribute, teacher Nguyen Thi Phuong Hue is always proactive in researching and flexibly applying integrated teaching methods to create effectiveness for her lessons and bring excitement to her students, arousing in them national pride and love and passion for the subject.

Student Nguyen Khanh Linh, class 12A1 shared: Thanks to Ms. Phuong Hue, I find that History is no longer dry and difficult to remember. She always has a way to make historical events and figures easy to remember and understand through group activities, quizzes, and illustrated mind maps. As an excellent teacher for many years, teacher Nguyen Thi Phuong Hue has achieved outstanding results in training excellent students in History. Mu Cang Chai High School has more than 95% of students who are children of Mong ethnic group, many students have to leave their families to study. Loving her students, outside of class time, she is always close, asking, listening and understanding each student's situation, thereby caring, encouraging and motivating students in their studies and life away from home. Therefore, students always respect, be close to and see her as their second mother.

When assigned to teach and train the team of excellent students, Ms. Hue always inspires, shares dreams, encourages students to collect documents, encourages students to be creative in their studies; at the same time, trains students in necessary skills when studying and taking exams. Every time she grades and returns papers, Ms. Hue shows each student their strengths, weaknesses, and mistakes so that they can correct them.
