Representatives of the functional forces at the border gate area also pointed out a number of difficulties such as: lack of officers doing customs work; lack of electronic barriers causing difficulties and risks for customs officers controlling the border gate area; limited loading and unloading capacity... Especially the difficulties and problems in issuing temporary license plates for newly imported cars increase the storage costs of importing enterprises.

The leaders of the units also proposed that the province and its departments pay attention to recommending the Ministry of Public Security to adjust and amend the circular on granting temporary license plates for imported cars; and to expand specialized roads for transporting goods at the border gate area. In the immediate future, the functional forces recommended that the province allow newly imported cars to be moved to the Viettel Lang Son Logistics Park to reduce pressure on the parking lot and avoid local congestion at the border gate area.

Representatives of enterprises at the border gate also raised some difficulties and problems related to the project of public housing for workers and drivers; the project of expanding the yard to reduce local congestion at peak times and meet the infrastructure requirements for smart border gates. Enterprises also proposed to remove obstacles to speed up the implementation of the project of expanding the yard, public housing and continue to expand the specialized road for transporting goods to meet the current increasing traffic volume.
