Amorim particularly praised Kobbie Mainoo's contribution from the bench.

Speaking to TNT Sports , coach Amorim stressed that Manchester United's reserve players made the difference: "I'm very happy for Mainoo. He's an excellent player. He works hard and has outstanding qualities. He only played 10 minutes on the pitch, but every move was very good."

The Manchester United captain also shared: “I really like Kobbie Mainoo. Sometimes, from the bench, you can still change the game.”

Mainoo only came on in the 81st minute, but was highly praised by coach Amorim for helping MU control the match. In addition to Mainoo, two other MU substitutes, Mason Mount and Amad Diallo, also received much praise for their contributions.

Mount equalised for United in the second leg with a stunning strike from the edge of the box, then completed his stunning double with a strike from near the halfway line.

Amorim commented: “When you see a player like Mason working hard every day, eating scientifically , taking ice baths, you just want to support him. Mason is perfect for the role in the team, he can play as a midfielder and move as a winger. I am really happy for him.”

4 goals put MU in the Europa League final. In the early morning of May 9, Mount scored a double to help MU defeat Bilbao 4-1 in the second leg of the semi-final, thereby winning a ticket to the final with a total score of 7-1.
