On the morning of July 27, Man United just had a 2-1 victory over West Ham United thanks to a double from Bruno Fernandes in a summer friendly match in the US.
Notably, the organizers recorded the number of spectators coming to MetLife Stadium up to 82,566 people.
According to TNT Sports , this number is even higher than the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final between Chelsea and PSG also at MetLife Stadium when there were only 81,118 people.
This is also the soccer match with the highest number of spectators in the US this year, far surpassing the matches at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

According to statistics from the organizing committee, the number of spectators at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 is quite modest. The average number of spectators in the round of 16 is 42,751, the quarter-finals is 63,105, the semi-finals is 74,049, and the final is the most crowded with 81,118.
It is worth mentioning that many matches in the tournament only had a few thousand people in the stadium, such as Ulsan HD vs Mamelodi Sundowns with only 3,412 people, Pachuca vs Salzburg with 5,282 people.
These numbers have proven the attractiveness of Man United despite this being just a friendly match in the summer. Currently, the "Red Devils" are actively training to prepare for a more prosperous new season 2025 - 2026.
