Relatives searched for many days but could not find him so they reported to the authorities. Authorities mobilized 20 people to search. During this time, the area experienced prolonged heavy rain, landslides, and was cut off by rivers and streams, making the search difficult.

At noon today, the working group discovered Ms. Y Kinh in the forest of Dak Ha district, Kon Tum province, 10 km from Mang But commune. The victim appeared tired, worried, and shivering from the cold. The woman said that during the time she was lost in the forest, she picked wild vegetables, drank stream water, and climbed a tree to sleep at night to avoid wild animals.

The police gave her milk to drink, put on more clothes, then took her home to warm her up and handed her over to her family that same afternoon.
