In 2018, in the first conversation, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan - Chairman of Long An Football Supporters Association, confirmed that to me! It can be said that with sports in general and football in particular, he is a true fan, ready to devote all his love to the king of sports.

Football came to him by chance when he was very young. “Back then, when football was not yet professional, I watched Thanh Nien Long An football team play a few times, the fiery style of play made me passionate about football without realizing it” - Mr. Tuan recalled. Just like that, he was almost never absent from Long An football team’s matches. Whether the matches were near or far, he was always present, sometimes even flying to the North to follow the team to compete. In recent years, he has even been the one to connect and bring many grassroots tournaments to non-professional players.

“In the past, I mainly brought my brothers together to cheer for the Long An football team every time they played. But now that I am old, I decided to use images to capture the moments of each match, each player, and update information promptly as a way to express my love for football,” said Mr. Tuan. At the age of 60, when many people have started to think about retiring, he still rides his motorbike to each football field every day, accompanying the Long An football team and grassroots tournaments.

The first heavy rain of the season could not stop Mr. Tran Anh Tuan's love of football.

Under the first heavy rain of the season, he covered himself with a raincoat, backpack on his shoulder, holding a camera in his hand, standing at the end of the field watching the amateur football match of the Long An Television Cup, making many people admire him. It must be a great love for football that makes him "eat, sleep with football", burning himself out for the king sport. "I will continue with my love for football. It is also a part of my life" - Mr. Tran Anh Tuan affirmed.

In 2018, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan officially became a sports contributor with Long An Newspaper. Although the royalties were modest, for him, it was a great encouragement. “Before, I mainly took pictures and gave them to journalists to satisfy my passion. The first time I received royalties from Long An Newspaper, the money was put in a formal envelope, I immediately took it home to show off to my wife and daughter. I even carefully folded the envelopes of royalties and did not take them out to use,” said Mr. Tran Anh Tuan.

Also because of his love for the Long An football team, he started buying himself a small camera to record the moments of the team and each player. Then to satisfy his passion, from that small camera, up to now, he has used 3 professional cameras with many expensive lenses. "In the past 5 years, I have invested nearly 200 million VND in machinery" - Mr. Tuan said. He also confided: "Luckily for me, my family's economy is currently stable, I don't have to worry much, my daughter is grown up, has a stable job so I have more time for football. I also have a wife who always accompanies and supports me in my love of football, my wife is also a passionate football fan".

Over the past time, the Chairman of Long An Fan Club has traveled to countless football fields, attended countless tournaments, whether it was where Long An football team played or friendly matches, amateur football matches. For him, photos and short clips of players are the best way to promote the love of football to fans, adding more motivation for players to compete on the field.

“Before, I mostly only took photos of the Long An football team, so when the youth levels such as U15, U17 or U19, U21 competed, when they saw me outside the pitch, they were very excited. One of them even whispered: "Uncle, please take a photo of me later, we have never been allowed to take photos of us competing." The innocent words of the children also moved me, I am determined to go to all tournaments, whether youth or professional, with the hope that through the images, I will motivate the players to compete with determination and also connect the passion for football to the fans" - Mr. Tuan said.

For the past 5 years, regardless of rain or shine, near or far, in football tournaments from professional to amateur, the man in his 60s still carries a camera, a camcorder, alone "filming, taking pictures, recording, copying" to have information and images to send to fans. "I just want to continue to spread the passion, constantly update football life to fans as a way to express my love for football" - Mr. Tuan said./.

Not only me but many Long An people share the same passion and love for football. But now, the stands in the stadium have gradually lost the presence of fans. Long An football team still has to compete in the First Division, not knowing when it will reach the highest level. Therefore, my biggest dream is that Long An football will soon return to V-League to satisfy fans not only of the province but also of the Western football community. In addition to professional football, I really hope that in the near future, the province can re-organize the provincial football championship so that those who are passionate about grassroots sports will have more playgrounds, connecting their passions."
