Nguyen Bao Phat won the VGA Junior Tour for the first time

TPO - Nguyen Bao Phat closed stage 6 of the VGA Junior Tour 2025 at Silk Path Dong Trieu Golf & Country Club with an impressive victory, with 3 consecutive rounds of negative scores.

Opening with a favorable result of 68 strokes (-4), Bao Phat continued to maintain his confidence in round 2 with 70 strokes (-2), before completing the round with 71 strokes (-1) in the final round, thereby achieving a total score of (-7) after 54 holes.

This is also the first time Bao Phat has won the VGA Junior Tour National Youth Tournament, showing remarkable progress, confidence, bravery and the ability to compete fairly with his seniors on the field.

Nguyen Trong Hoang also had a commendable tournament when he finished second with a total score of (-2). The 15-year-old golfer started impressively with a 67 in the opening round to temporarily lead the rankings. Despite facing difficulties in the following 2 rounds, Trong Hoang still played with great effort.

In third place, Pham The Nam closed the final round with 71 strokes, achieving a total score of (+5). This achievement is a remarkable step forward, opening up many expectations for The Nam in the upcoming rounds. Following were Nguyen Van Hoa and Nguyen Quang Dai, sharing 4th and 5th place respectively.

The tournament also witnessed a “rain of eagles” with 6 young golfers achieving this score evenly distributed in the rounds, including: Nguyen Vu Hoang Anh, Nguyen Gia Vinh, Pham Hong Quang, Nguyen Quang Dai, Tran The Bao and Nguyen Nam Thang. Those moments not only created professional highlights, but also showed the increasingly high quality of the young athletes.
