Sacombank won the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Championship

(NLĐ)- After a 4-2 penalty shootout victory over the Vietnam Banking Trade Union, Sacombank won the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament.

The final round of the 2025 Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament jointly organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Vietnam Football Federation and Tuoi Tre Newspaper ended on the evening of November 2, after the final match between Sacombank and the Vietnam Banking Trade Union at Ton Duc Thang University Stadium.

The tournament kicked off on October 3 with 40 teams representing provincial/municipal trade unions, industry trade unions and enterprises. The final round took place from October 31 to November 2 in Ho Chi Minh City, with the participation of 16 best teams. To date, after more than 100 matches, the 2025 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament has concluded with the championship title belonging to Sacombank. Second place went to Vietnam Bank Trade Union; third place went to Sawaco, and fourth place went to Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union 2.

In addition, the organizing committee awarded prizes to the most impressive cheering team, the best referee team, the best goalkeeper, the fairest-play team, the player with the most goals, and the best player. In particular, Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union 2 won the title of the fairest-play team.

In particular, the teams that won tickets to the semi-finals decided to donate 50% of their bonus to support workers and laborers in the Central region who suffered losses due to storms and floods.

Through the third season, the annual tournament organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Vietnam Football Federation and Tuoi Tre Newspaper has truly become a prestigious playground for workers, civil servants and laborers across the country; contributing to promoting the movement of physical exercise and sports , improving the cultural and spiritual life of workers, civil servants and laborers in particular and the whole society in general.
