Road to Olympia 2025 Final: Tran Bui Bao Khanh from Hanoi excellently won the laurel wreath

Four climbers from Hanoi, Hue, Khanh Hoa and Dong Thap brought a dramatic Final. After 4 intense rounds, the scores of the 4 contestants were always close to each other, the owner of the laurel wreath of the Final of the Road to Olympia was awarded to contestant Tran Bui Bao Khanh - Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Hanoi.

On the morning of October 26th, the 25th Grand Final of the "Road to Olympia" competition officially took place, broadcast live on VTV3, Vietnam Television, with four live broadcast locations: Song Huong Theater (Hue), Lac Hong Park ( Dong Thap ), 2/4 Square (Khanh Hoa), and Thang Long Imperial Citadel (Hanoi).

Four outstanding individuals

For over two decades, "Road to Olympia" has proudly been the longest-running and most prestigious televised competition for high school students, contributing to fostering a spirit of learning and inspiring the desire to create self-worth through knowledge in the young generation of Vietnam.

Four contestants with four distinct personalities converged in the 2025 Road to Olympia Finals: Le Quang Duy Khoa - Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted - Hue; Nguyen Nhut Lam - Cai Be High School, Dong Thap; Doan Thanh Tung - Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Khanh Hoa ; and Tran Bui Bao Khanh - Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Hanoi.

These four outstanding individuals represent the intelligence and courage of Vietnamese students, possessing self-confidence, a thirst for knowledge, and an unceasing desire to pursue knowledge, ready for the journey to conquer the Olympia Peak.

The atmosphere at all four locations was electrifying throughout the competition. From Hue to Hanoi, from Dong Thap to Khanh Hoa, thousands of enthusiastic supporters from their hometowns poured their hearts into the event, fueling the spirit of the four most outstanding "climbers" of 2025.

In Hue, the "supporters" enthusiastically cheered on the performances, which were rich in the unique character of the ancient capital. MC Duc Bao shared: "Everyone's spirits are still high. Everyone wants to present the most beautiful, vibrant, and emotional images."

In Khanh Hoa, the vibrant sounds of drums and cheers blended with the bright red of flags and flowers that filled the coastal square. MC Cong To emotionally shared: "I felt the youthful energy and special affection of the audience here. Every cheer, every smile is a great source of encouragement for Thanh Tung."

In Dong Thap and Hanoi, the atmosphere was equally vibrant, with thousands of students and citizens joining in the cheers, creating a true celebration of knowledge and Vietnamese youth.

Exciting competitions

The atmosphere in the studio was lively right from the first questions of the Warm-up round. The contestants entered the competition with confidence, demonstrating speed and quick reflexes in each answer. At the end of the tense first round, Bao Khanh temporarily led with 65 points.

The keyword for the Obstacle Course round was "The Soul of Truong Ba, the Butcher's Skin". The round unfolded with surprises when Thanh Tung pressed the buzzer first after only one image hint and gave a bold answer that left the audience in awe. At the end of the second round, Thanh Tung took the lead with 100 points.

Entering the Acceleration round, the pace of the competition intensified, with contestants continuously scoring points on questions of increasing difficulty. Thanh Tung made a spectacular breakthrough with 210 points, maintaining his leading position after the third round.

Four contestants prepared for the final round with their own confident strategies. Thanh Tung calmly maintained his score while forcing his opponents to deduct points from three consecutive questions. With a brilliant performance, Bao Khanh conquered all three challenging questions.

Duy Khoa felt a little regretful for losing points on the final calculation of the second question, but successfully regained the balance with the hopeful star. Nhut Lam boldly chose three 30-point questions, brilliantly overcoming the English question.

A wonderful and memorable journey.

The champion of the 2025 Road to Olympia competition is Tran Bui Bao Khanh with a total score of 215. Second place went to Doan Thanh Tung with a close score of 210. Third place was awarded to Le Quang Duy Khoa and Nguyen Nhut Lam.

The awards ceremony took place amidst cheers and overwhelming emotion from thousands of spectators at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel in Hanoi, as well as at the Vietnam Television studio, bringing to a close the emotional and proud journey of the 2025 Road to Olympia competition.
