Road to Olympia 2025 Final: Tran Bui Bao Khanh from Hanoi excellently won the laurel wreath

Four climbers from Hanoi, Hue, Khanh Hoa and Dong Thap brought a dramatic Final. After 4 intense rounds, the scores of the 4 contestants were always close to each other, the owner of the laurel wreath of the Final of the Road to Olympia was awarded to contestant Tran Bui Bao Khanh - Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Hanoi.

On the morning of October 26, the 25th Final of Road to Olympia officially took place, broadcast live on VTV3, Vietnam Television with 4 locations: Huong River Theater (Hue), Lac Hong Park ( Dong Thap ), 2/4 Square (Khanh Hoa) and Thang Long Imperial Citadel (Hanoi).

Four typical faces

Over the past two decades, The Road to Olympia is proud to be the oldest and most prestigious television show for high school students, contributing to promoting the spirit of learning and arousing the desire to create self-worth through knowledge in the young generation of Vietnam.

Four contestants with four distinct colors gathered at the Road to Olympia 2025 Final: Le Quang Duy Khoa - Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted - Hue; Nguyen Nhat Lam - Cai Be High School, Dong Thap; Doan Thanh Tung - Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Khanh Hoa and Tran Bui Bao Khanh - Hanoi High School for the Gifted - Amsterdam, Hanoi.

These are four typical faces representing the intelligence and bravery of Vietnamese students, with self-confidence, a spirit of learning and a desire to constantly reach for knowledge, ready for the journey to conquer the Road to Olympia.

The atmosphere at the four locations was always explosive throughout the competition. From Hue to Hanoi, Dong Thap to Khanh Hoa, thousands of hometown fans were on fire, fueling the spirit of the four best “climbers” of 2025.

In Hue, the “rear” team enthusiastically cheered on performances imbued with the ancient capital’s identity. MC Duc Bao shared: “Everyone’s spirit is still high. Everyone wants to bring the most beautiful, vivid and emotional images.”

In Khanh Hoa, the sound of drums and cheers mingled with the bright red flags spread across the coastal square. MC Cong To emotionally shared: "I feel the youthful energy and special affection of the audience here. Every cheer, every smile is a great source of encouragement for Thanh Tung."

In Dong Thap and Hanoi, it was no less bustling, when thousands of students and people cheered together, creating a true festival of knowledge and Vietnamese youth.

The fierce competitions

The atmosphere in the studio was lively right from the first questions of the Kick-off round. The contestants entered the competition with confidence, showing speed and quick reflexes in each answer. At the end of the first tense round, Bao Khanh temporarily took the lead with 65 points.

The keyword for the Obstacle Course round was “Truong Ba’s Soul, Butcher’s Skin”. The round was full of surprises when Thanh Tung rang the bell first after just one image suggestion and gave a bold answer that made the audience burst into tears. At the end of the second round, Thanh Tung took the lead with 100 points.

Entering the Acceleration round, the pace of the match was pushed up, the contestants continuously scored points on questions of increasing difficulty. Thanh Tung made a spectacular breakthrough with 210 points, continuing to maintain the leading position after the third round.

Four warriors prepared for the Finish Line round with their own brave strategies. Thanh Tung calmly maintained his score when 3 consecutive questions forced his opponents to deduct points. With a sublime performance, Bao Khanh conquered all 3 difficult questions.

Duy Khoa felt a little regretful when he lost points in the last calculation of the second question, but he successfully regained the balance with the hopeful star. Nhut Lam boldly chose 3 questions worth 30 points, excellently passing the English question.

A wonderful and memorable journey

The champion of Road to Olympia 2025 was Tran Bui Bao Khanh with a total score of 215. Second prize was awarded to Doan Thanh Tung with a close score of 210. Two third prizes went to Le Quang Duy Khoa and Nguyen Nhut Lam.

The award ceremony took place amidst cheers and overwhelming emotions from thousands of spectators at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel bridge, Hanoi as well as at the Vietnam Television studio, concluding the emotional and proud Road to Olympia 2025 journey.
