Dak Lak has one project that made it into the Top 10 finalists of the National Startup Program.

The organizing committee of the National Startup Project Development Program 2025 has just announced the Top 10 projects that have advanced to the final round, including the project on the production, processing, and trading of edible and medicinal mushrooms under solar-powered roofs by Thanh Dong Green Food Joint Stock Company.

The project for the production, processing, and trading of edible and medicinal mushrooms under solar-powered roofs is a business and agricultural cultivation project based on high-quality standards. The project is implemented in a circular manner on a scale of 6,000 ^m² in Hoa Phu commune. This model not only utilizes technology transferred from the Institute for Research and Development of Edible and Medicinal Mushrooms – Vietnam Academy of Agriculture, but also incorporates mechanization and automated systems.

Thanks to systematic investment in factory facilities, technology, and techniques, the project has become operational and efficient. To date, mushroom products have achieved ISO 22000-2018 and VietGAP certifications. The project also has two products that have achieved 4-star OCOP status and three products recognized as typical rural agricultural products in the Central and Central Highlands regions. Notably, the model has yielded double benefits, generating revenue from electricity while also providing electricity for agricultural production, resulting in high-quality products.

The National Startup Project Development Program, organized annually by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in collaboration with the Business Forum Magazine, brings together hundreds of innovative projects nationwide.

The top 10 projects will receive support in connecting with mentors, participating in training courses and programs organized by VCCI, the Business Forum Magazine, and the National Entrepreneurship Program. They will also receive media support, market connections, and assistance in refining their business models. In particular, the top 10 will continue to receive intensive training to participate in the Global Entrepreneurship Cup, opening up opportunities to test their skills on an international stage.

The final round of the National Startup Project Development Program 2025 will take place on December 20th in Hanoi .
