The third-place match of the 2025 Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Championship between Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union 2 and Sawaco is taking place in a draw at Ton Duc Thang University Stadium.

At 3:30 p.m., the closing ceremony of the national final round of the Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament 2025 will take place at Ton Duc Thang University Stadium (HCMC).

The closing ceremony of the tournament will be attended by leaders of the Government, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, leaders of central and Ho Chi Minh City departments and branches, leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor , Vietnam Football Federation...

Right after the closing ceremony, the final match will take place between the two strongest teams of the tournament, Sacombank and Vietnam Banking Union, at 3:30 p.m.

Sacombank was the champion of the Southern region qualifying round after beating Sawaco 3-0 in the final. In the semi-final match against Sawaco in the national final round taking place on the morning of November 2, Sacombank continued to win 5-0.

Meanwhile, the Vietnam Banking Trade Union (actually represented bySHB Bank) was the second-placed team in the Northern region qualifying round after losing to the People's Public Security Trade Union 4-5 in the penalty shootout of the final match.

In the semi-final match of the national final round on the morning of November 2, Vietnam Bank Trade Union defeated the host Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union 2 (1-0).

With what has been shown and a series of quality players who have competed in the biggest amateur playgrounds in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the "battle" of the banking industry in the final match is worth waiting for.

Notably, the final match will be officiated by referee Tran Ngoc Nho - the man in black who has refereed for many years at the highest level of Vietnamese football (V-League).

The 2025 Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament is jointly organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper , Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and Vietnam Football Federation for the third consecutive year.

The final round of the Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament 2025 took place from October 31 to November 2 in Ho Chi Minh City, with the participation of 16 teams that had successfully passed the qualifying round.
