Former Vice President Truong My Hoa presents scholarships to Phu Yen students

On June 18, Ms. Truong My Hoa, former Vice President, President of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, Head of the Club for Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa, awarded scholarships to disadvantaged students in Phu Yen.

At the program, Ms. Truong My Hoa awarded 75 scholarships, including 35 Vu A Dinh scholarships for ethnic minority students with difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties to study well and 40 scholarships from the Club for beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa for students who are children of fishermen with difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties to study well. Each scholarship is worth 1 million VND.

Ms. Truong My Hoa awarded Vu A Dinh scholarships to ethnic minority students with difficult circumstances who overcame difficulties to study well in Phu Yen.

According to Ms. Vo Thi My Duyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Phu Yen province, from the 2022-2023 school year up to now, the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and the "For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa" Club have awarded 375 scholarships to students of Phu Yen province, with a total value of 375 million VND.

Ms. Truong My Hoa gives scholarships to students who are children of fishermen in difficult circumstances in Phu Yen.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Truong My Hoa said: "The Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, established 25 years ago, has provided tens of thousands of scholarships to ethnic minority students across the country with difficult circumstances to strive to study well and train well. The scholarships given to Phu Yen students not only have material value but also convey feelings of love. Through this, the students see the care and concern of society, the fairness and equality without distinction between children in the mountains or coastal areas."
