By the 2024 - 2025 season, Van Vi has become the number one choice on the left flank of Nam Dinh, surpassing both Hong Duy and To Van Vu, demonstrating his comprehensive offensive and defensive abilities, becoming the "key" to breaking the deadlock for the team from Thanh Nam.
