Accordingly, in the second quarter of 2024, Da Nang International Terminal and FPT Software Company Limited (FPT Software) will deploy the installation of AI camera systems at aviation check-in areas to assess crowding density, thereby supporting the operations department to quickly detect hot spots in real time and provide effective solutions.

At the same time, deploying a mobile application that provides smart support solutions such as departure status notifications and current location on the map. Building a new website aimed at providing the most convenient experience for users in looking up and searching for multilingual information. Arranging additional evaluation and information search systems using touch devices throughout the terminal to promptly support information search needs. In addition, the system also has the function of collecting opinions and evaluations, helping the terminal receive problems that passengers are facing, thereby making timely improvement plans. The project is expected to be completed in October 2024.

In the period of 2022-2023, the terminal has installed automated procedures such as automatic immigration control system (autogate), automatic departure gate (auto boarding gate), self-check-in kiosk, especially for the first time in Vietnam, an airport terminal has introduced self-bag-drop system into the operation process and has been pioneered by Starlux airline, marking an important milestone when the entire aviation procedure of the airport terminal is fully automated. Since being put into operation, these systems have brought about many significant changes, helping to reduce check-in time, creating a more convenient flow of traffic during rush hour.
