The Steel and Iron Mechanical Joint Stock Company is an enterprise specializing in the production of iron, steel, cast iron, mechanical processing, design and manufacture with a steel rolling line with a capacity of 100,000 tons/year. Monthly, the electricity consumption output is from 9 to 11 million kWh with an amount of about 15 billion VND. Over the years, in addition to stabilizing production, the Company has also implemented many solutions to save electricity. Mr. Bui Thai Son, Director of the Steel and Iron Mechanical Joint Stock Company said: As a unit that uses a lot of electricity. To meet the demand, we registered with Thai Nguyen Electricity to use about 66 MgW per month. With such a large electricity consumption, we have also coordinated with Thai Nguyen Electricity Company to propose specific technological solutions for production and reduce areas using unnecessary electricity to implement the requirements of the documents signed with Thai Nguyen Electricity Company.
Currently, in the province, there are nearly 150 customers with electricity consumption of over 1 million kWh/year. Thai Nguyen Electricity Company has actively worked with the Provincial People's Committee, units and localities to propagate and mobilize customers with large electricity consumption to participate in electricity load adjustment programs. Many businesses, when being propagated by the electricity industry, have proactively implemented reductions for independent load groups.

With the above benefits, Thai Nguyen Electricity Company hopes that customers will actively participate, fulfill their signed commitments, and ensure the correct use of capacity and registered load chart. Use additional diesel generators to reduce the pressure on power supply during the hot season, contributing to limiting the risks of insecurity for the national power grid system.
