At the meeting, the leaders of the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Luc Ngan district said that in the 2025 crop year, the lychee output of Luc Ngan district and Chu town ( Bac Giang ) is estimated to reach about 108,000 tons (Luc Ngan district about 65,000 tons, Chu town about 43,000 tons).
Currently, Luc Ngan district has been granted 60 lychee export growing area codes (China 24 codes, USA 9 codes; Australia 7 codes, Japan 17 codes, Thailand 3 codes) and there are 15 packaging facilities granted export eligibility codes.
In 2025, in addition to traditional consumption channels, Luc Ngan district will proactively promote lychee consumption on domestic e-commerce platforms and continue to promote lychee exports to the Chinese market and some other countries such as Japan, the United States, Australia, Thailand, etc. Luc Ngan district strives to export about 70% of the lychee output of Luc Ngan district and Chu town in the 2025 crop year, mainly to the Chinese market.
At the meeting, the leaders of the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Luc Ngan district hoped that the Management Board of Dong Dang - Lang Son Economic Zone and related departments, branches and forces of Lang Son province would continue to advise the People's Committee of Lang Son province to direct related agencies, units and forces at the province's border gates to support and create favorable conditions for the export of lychee of Luc Ngan district in particular and of Bac Giang province in general through the border gates of Lang Son province.
Here, the leader of the Dong Dang - Lang Son Economic Zone Management Board also said: The consistent policy of the Lang Son provincial leadership is to always create the most favorable and open conditions for enterprises exporting agricultural products. At this time, the relevant levels and sectors of Lang Son province always prioritize the export of lychee of Luc Ngan district as well as of the whole Bac Giang province and some other localities across the country.
Recently, Lang Son province has proactively organized exchanges and talks with the authorities of Guangxi, China to agree on plans to improve the capacity of customs clearance of import and export goods, especially exchanging contents to create the most favorable conditions for customs clearance of fresh fruits from Vietnam, including fresh lychees.
At the meeting, leaders of the Dong Dang - Lang Son Economic Zone Management Board, departments, branches, functional forces of Lang Son province and the People's Committee of Luc Ngan district also discussed further methods of promoting consumption, especially issues related to lychee export activities through Lang Son province's border gates.
In order to facilitate the export of lychees in Luc Ngan district in particular and in localities of Bac Giang province in general, the leaders of the Management Board of Dong Dang - Lang Son Economic Zone and departments, branches and functional forces of Lang Son province also requested the People's Committee of Luc Ngan district and some specialized agencies of Bac Giang province to continue to recommend that businesses and traders exporting lychees proactively carry out official exports, with sales contracts to minimize risks. At the same time, they should pay attention to quality, food safety and hygiene, and at the same time meet the requirements of the Chinese side on traceability, management of growing area codes, and packaging facility codes.
Previously, the working delegation of the People's Committee of Luc Ngan district (Bac Giang) surveyed the actual export activities of agricultural products and fruits at Tan Thanh border gate (Lang Son province).
