Taxpayers make final settlement on eTax Mobile application

According to the provisions of the Law on Tax Administration, in March and April 2024, enterprises, organizations and individuals are obliged to submit tax settlement dossiers for 2023 to tax authorities at all levels. For corporate income tax settlement, taxpayers must complete tax settlement no later than the last day of the third month from the end of the calendar year or fiscal year for annual tax settlement dossiers. However, in 2024, the last day of the third month from the end of the calendar year is March 31, 2024 (Sunday), accordingly, the deadline for submitting corporate income tax settlement dossiers for 2023 is no later than April 1, 2024. For enterprises with a fiscal year other than the calendar year, the latest is the last day of the third month from the end of the fiscal year.

For the personal income tax settlement dossier of individuals directly settling taxes, taxpayers must complete the tax settlement no later than the last day of the 4th month from the end of the calendar year. However, the last day of the 4th month from the end of the calendar year is April 30, 2024 (the 3rd day) and the following day is May 1, 2024 (International Labor Day), so the deadline for individuals directly settling taxes with the tax authority is no later than May 2, 2024. As for individuals with tax amounts to be refunded, they can submit at any time without being subject to administrative penalties for tax violations for late submission of dossiers.
