Many exciting activities for new students

Entering the university door, many first-year students are still bewildered by new things. To help them integrate into the university environment, the Student Associations at all levels in the province and universities have organized many exciting and fun activities to inspire and energize new students.

Create a playground

From early morning, hundreds of students were present at Eastern International University to participate in the Uni tour 2024 organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association and Honda Vietnam . Kicking off the series of activities of the festival was the Honda Uni run 2024 for students to practice their health. Following the activities, students were able to demonstrate their artistic talents through the contest "Searching for musical and dance talents", and their creativity was inspired through the contest "Bike Contest - Creative decal, defining fashion". Participating in the program, students were also equipped with foreign affairs knowledge through the Forum "Foreign affairs and international integration in Binh Duong province" with guests being leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Provincial Youth Union, and the Provincial Student Association.

Students participate in Honda Uni run 2024

At the end of the day, the program ended with the music night Honda Uni Tour 2024 - Shining your own style" and interacting with many famous artists. Young people immersed themselves in the vibrant music space with bright, eager faces, showing youthfulness and dynamism. Pham Ngoc Anh, a first-year student at Thu Dau Mot University, shared: "I am very happy to participate in the program. This year's festival has really left many deep impressions in my heart. Through the activities, not only did we get to know each other quickly but also strengthened the spirit of solidarity. In particular, the interaction with famous artists brought me and my friends exciting and enthusiastic experiences."

At Binh Duong University of Economics and Technology, the program of Welcome Day for new students of course D24 was also organized with many exciting activities, attracting thousands of students to participate. In addition, each major of the school has cultural and artistic activities, intellectual games suitable for the characteristics of new students of each major.

Similarly, at Binh Duong University, in addition to fun and exchange activities, the school also opens club booths to help students learn about and register to join clubs that suit their interests, such as: Book Club and Readers Club, Combined Eastern and Western Medicine Club; Art Club; 5 Good Students Club; Media Club, etc.

On this occasion, the program awarded 10 scholarships to support students with good academic performance, each worth 1 million VND in cash.

Support new students

When children enter university, it is the joy and dream of many families, but many families, along with that joy, also have worries about many expenses at the beginning of the school year. A typical example is Ta Van Hoang, a first-year student at Thu Dau Mot University. His family lives in Bac Giang province. When Typhoon Yagi passed, his house was damaged, his property was lost, and his life was disrupted. The family, which was already facing economic difficulties, now had to bear the additional damage from the storm and flood, increasing the financial pressure on Hoang's education. In this situation, Thu Dau Mot University supported the cost to help Hoang continue to fulfill his dream of going to school.

In addition to the scholarship awarded by the school to Hoang, the Standing Committee of the Youth Union and the Secretariat of the Student Union of Thu Dau Mot University held a meeting to review and award the "Fulfilling Dreams" scholarship to 39 new students, with a total value of nearly 80 million VND. Mr. Nguyen Viet Xuan Sang, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union, said: "This is a scholarship fund awarded with the purpose of supporting students with difficult circumstances but always striving to achieve excellent results in studying, scientific research and the Youth Union - Association movement. In addition, the school also organized a series of programs to welcome new students D24 with the theme: "Dare to Dream - Dare to Fight" with many exciting activities, such as: Tam sao that ban program; cultural exchange with singers; exchange day of clubs, teams, groups, units; campus tour, Vietnam - Laos cultural exchange program...
