Many exciting and joyful activities at the Folk Cake Festival

This is one of the activities to introduce and promote local images and traditional cultural features.

Many kinds of traditional cakes served at the festival

This year’s festival has more than 20 booths from 9 neighborhoods, schools, and local and foreign businesses participating. Dozens of traditional cakes, such as: banh it, banh bo, banh tet, banh ú, banh da lon, banh xeo, steamed bananas, etc., along with many types of drinks, were displayed, introduced, and served to everyone who came to visit, shop, and enjoy.

Besides, there are also exciting folk games such as: throwing con, jumping bamboo, kicking shuttlecock, making clay figurines, writing calligraphy... which bring locals and tourists a joyful entertainment atmosphere and help them experience more interesting traditional cultural features.

Folk games at the festival attract a large number of people to participate.

At the festival, the festival organizing committee also awarded prizes for the traditional cake booth decoration contest to the most beautiful booths.

The jury judges the contest of decorating traditional cake booths.

This is one of the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025) and the 71st anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory Day (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2025).
