Many activities to honor people with meritorious services in Dong Nai

(DN) - To celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), in Dong Nai province, many activities took place to express gratitude, visit and give gifts to people with meritorious services (NCC) and relatives of NCC to the revolution.

On July 24 and 25, local leaders in the province visited and offered incense and flowers at martyrs' cemeteries.

Tan Phu Commune Party Secretary Tran Quang Tu said that in addition to the general gifts for 213 NCC cases in the area (1 million VND/gift), the locality also mobilized to give gifts worth 2 million VND to 14 seriously wounded and sick soldiers in the commune...

In Phuoc An commune, in addition to the province's gifts, the locality mobilized and presented 380 gifts to the local volunteer workers. Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Phuoc An commune, Huynh Minh Duc, said that expressing gratitude and deep appreciation to the volunteer workers who have devoted their youth and sacrificed a part of their body to the Fatherland is a sacred responsibility and a command from the heart of today's generation.

Also on this occasion, Bu Dang commune organized a meeting and presented gifts to nearly 300 NCC delegates with the revolution in the area. Among them, all seriously wounded and sick soldiers were listed by the commune for the provincial working delegation to visit and present gifts.

Tam Hiep Ward Party Secretary Nguyen Xuan Thanh said that on this occasion, the Ward Party Committee organized a delegation to visit cemeteries and historical sites; visit and present many gifts to NCC and relatives of NCC in the area. This activity aims to show gratitude to NCC who have contributed and sacrificed for the independence of the Fatherland and for the happiness of the people.
