Many K-pop stars join Korean Tourism Festival in Vietnam

On May 25, introducing the Korean Tourism Festival in Hanoi , the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) said that this is a program within the framework of promoting "Korea Tourism Year 2023-2024" organized on a large scale, with many unique and diverse activities, including more than 40 booths of many units from Vietnam and Korea, bringing interesting experiences to visitors.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Lee Hak Ju - Deputy Director General of the Korea Tourism Organization said that this is the first time the festival introduces tourism products combined with K-eSports (electronic sports ); a media art experience program using the latest technology in Korea.

According to the Organizing Committee, the booths are divided into many themes. Korean tourism agencies provide a lot of tourism information for visitors, discount activities on tourism products, including camping tours on cars. Highlights include the multimedia art booth, the Korean K-drama experience booth, and the Korean K-pop music experience booth.

The highlight of the festival's artistic activities is the participation of many top K-pop and V-pop stars, such as the 4-member music group Highlight, the dance group 1 Million; singers Min, Isaac and Tran Ngoc Anh...

Assessing the significance of this event, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Ha Van Sieu said that Korea is the number one market sending tourists to Vietnam and Vietnam is also among the top markets sending tourists to Korea.

In the first 4 months of 2024, Vietnam welcomed 1.6 million Korean visitors, an increase of nearly 50% over the same period in 2023, accounting for nearly 26% of the total number of international visitors to Vietnam. In the opposite direction, Korea welcomed more than 167,000 Vietnamese visitors, an increase of 33% over the same period in 2023, ranking 4th in the number of visitors to Korea and being the leading market in ASEAN sending visitors to Korea.

The Korea Travel Festa 2024 event continues to affirm the strong presence of Korean tourism in Vietnam. With its attractive culture, landscapes, professional services, and many unique products... it will make many Vietnamese people love Korea and travel to Korea.
