Many billionaires and private businesses join hands to build a 'public-private nation building' model

On September 11, the Ceremony to announce the Vietnam Private Economic Panorama Model (ViPEL) and introduce the executive board and key personnel of the committees was organized by the Private Economic Development Research Board (Board IV).

According to the direction of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in the working session with Committee IV, the "Vietnam Private Economic Panorama Model" must be implemented substantially and effectively, mobilizing the combined strength of the private sector, contributing to bringing Resolution 68 of the Politburo on private economic development into life.

Aiming for "20, 200 and 2,000"

On that basis, Committee IV organized the Announcement Ceremony of the "Vietnam Private Economic Panorama Model", and introduced the Executive Council and key personnel of the Committees - within the framework of the first Vietnam Private Economic Panorama program.

Mr. Truong Gia Binh - Head of Board IV - member of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Private Economic Panorama - emphasized: "The Vietnam Private Economic Panorama model aims at the goal of "Public - private nation building: Strong and prosperous".

This model will promote a mechanism of working together and sharing responsibility between the private sector and state agencies in economic development. This is also a place where the intelligence, resources, profound voices and great solutions of the private business community converge. Thereby contributing to realizing the goal of developing the private economy into the most important driving force of the economy.

Sharing special emotions, considering today's event as the Binh Than Conference that took place thousands of years ago to discuss the direction of the resistance war against the Yuan-Mongol army, Mr. Binh said that every time the country's history enters a "turning point", the Vietnamese people always shine, the nation enters a new destiny. With the mindset of not only being entrepreneurs who create jobs, but also "oathing" to build a rich and prosperous Vietnam.

"In the face of fate, we need to be proud and confident in the development of the nation, with the will and aspiration to build a strong and prosperous country with the 'public - private' model of nation building. For a long time, businesses have gone it alone, but now they will join forces and unite to do it. We rely on each other "layer by layer", not only domestic businessmen, but also global talents participating" - Mr. Binh said.

Accordingly, the goals of the "Public-private national construction" program are 20, 200 and 2,000. These are symbolic numbers, aiming to build at least 20 public-private models at the national level, with private enterprises participating in large, key projects of the country such as the North-South high-speed railway; build at least 200 national enterprises, large enterprises to create a powerful force and have at least 2,000 intellectuals and businessmen at home and abroad participating.

Gathering the largest and most prestigious private business force

According to Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Thuy - Director of Office IV - the difference of the Private Economic Panorama model is the gathering of the largest, most prestigious, and most standardized private enterprise sector.

This model will operate continuously, lasting over the years, not for group interests but for the responsibility of designing and implementing comprehensive solutions for the development of the economy and of each industry and field.

The program's goal and mission is to promote the development of the private economic sector, contribute to growth targets, and build an independent, self-reliant, and sustainable economy.

Accompanying businesses to solve national problems, build internal strength based on science and technology, innovation, digital transformation and global orientation. Along with that is providing an overview of the global, domestic, economic context, and business development to effectively play the role of a public-private bridge.

"Roll of names" of participating entrepreneurs

At the launching ceremony of the Panorama Executive Council, there were initially key businessmen in attendance, including: Mr. Truong Gia Binh (Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT Group, Head of Committee IV), Mr. Don Lam (General Director of VinaCapital), Mr. Mai Huu Tin (General Director of U&I Group), Mr. Vu Van Tien (Chairman of the Board of Directors of Geleximco Group), Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao (Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sovico Group), Ms. Cao Thi Ngoc Dung (Chairman of the Board of Directors of Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company - PNJ) and key leaders of the committees, representing enterprises: Gemadept, Shinec, Euro Window, Dai Dung, Thai Hung, AA Coporation, Vinh Hiep, Hanel PT, TMG...

ViPEL will operate based on the Executive Council of the Panorama Program with four committees. Including: Committee on emerging technology and innovation industries; Committee on infrastructure development and industries with national competitive advantages; Committee on industries, production, processing and manufacturing; Committee on resource development and services.

According to the plan, on October 10, the program "Vietnam Private Economic Panorama 2025" will take place, such as announcing a report assessing the development prospects of Vietnam's private enterprises in 2025 and honoring typical enterprises along with public-private dialogues.
