Old men build homes for the poor

Nearly 15 years since its establishment and operation, Mr. Pham Thanh Liem - Head of the Wood Sawing Team of Long Phu Thuan Commune, Dong Thap (Phu Thuan B Commune, Hong Ngu District, former Dong Thap Province) has brought joy and happiness and the miracle of kindness to hundreds of poor households, near-poor households, lonely elderly people, and people with housing difficulties with an amount of more than 5 billion VND.

In this sawmill, I met old men with white hair, friendly and warm smiles of barefoot farmers. With his meaningful work, Mr. Pham Thanh Liem was honored to receive the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit for studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland; the "Flower of Good Deeds" award from the Provincial Red Cross Society; Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee for outstanding achievements in social charity work; Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee for outstanding achievements in new rural construction; Certificate of Merit from the Provincial Party Standing Committee for outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in the period 2021 - 2024.
