The 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day will take place with many meaningful activities. In particular, the parade and marching program has attracted the attention of many people in recent days.

More than 13,000 people will participate in the parade.

In recent days, preparations for the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification have been carried out closely and synchronously, closely following the Central Government's instructions.

Previously, the Ministry of National Defense coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to conduct a field survey and agree on a draft of the parade program.

The parade is expected to take place on Le Duan Street, District 1 and some central streets of the city.

According to the rehearsal program, the ceremony began with a flag-raising ceremony with the resounding sound of 21 cannon shots by the artillery team at Bach Dang Wharf. The parade began with a demonstration of force by the Vietnam People's Air Force. Next, the honor guard entered the center.

In addition to watching live on the street, people attending the Anniversary can also watch the parade through 21 large LED screens. These screens will be placed on the routes where the procession passes.

It is expected that about 13,000 people from 48 military, police and civil sectors will participate in the rehearsal on April 27 and will participate in the official parade on April 30.

Specifically, among them, there are 36 armed forces and police; 12 mass groups; 3 parade groups of the armies of guest countries: China, Laos and Cambodia.

Details of the 4 directions of the parade blocks

Starting from the intersection of Le Duan and Nguyen Binh Khiem streets, after passing the main stage in front of the Reunification Hall, the parade force will split into 4 directions and move to the assembly point.

First direction: Forces move along the route of Nam Ky Khoi Nghia-Le Loi-Nguyen Thi Nghia-Phu Dong Thien Vuong 6-way intersection-Cach Mang Thang Tam. The parade and marching force moving in this direction will gather at Tao Dan Park.

Second direction: Forces move in the direction of Nam Ky Khoi Nghia-Le Thanh Ton-Nguyen Hue-Me Linh roundabout. The parade and marching force moving in this direction will gather at Bach Dang Wharf.

According to the parade rehearsal taking place on April 27, after passing through the Reunification Hall, the parade force will split into 4 directions and move to the assembly point.

Third direction: Forces move along the route Le Duan-Nam Ky Khoi Nghia-Nguyen Dinh Chieu-Dinh Tien Hoang. The parade and marching force moving in this direction will gather at Hoa Lu Stadium.

Fourth direction: Forces move through Nam Ky Khoi Nghia and Hai Ba Trung streets. The parade and marching group moving in this direction will gather at Le Van Tam Park.

To be able to conveniently follow the parade, people can choose one of the suitable roads where the forces are moving or the points where LED screens are arranged on major roads.

Regarding transportation, people should consider using technology-based car booking services or taking metro line 1 Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien to get to the central stations and then walk to the parade area.

If using personal vehicles, people should monitor information about prohibited roads to proactively choose their travel routes. At the same time, look for suitable parking locations so that they can easily walk to the event location.
