Dynamic countryside

Not only is Ninh Hai a dynamic rural area in economic development, it is also a pioneer district in implementing and deploying the campaign to build new rural areas (NTM), advanced NTM, and model NTM. With practical significance, people in the district have been actively responding to the campaign, contributing their efforts, money and enthusiasm to the cause of improving the quality of the living environment, making the appearance of NTM in the district increasingly prosperous.

Implementing the National Program on building advanced new rural areas, many villages in Ninh Hai district have changed significantly. Coming to Tri Hai commune in early spring, the roads leading to the commune center are filled with red flags fluttering, yellow apricot blossoms blooming in the warm sunshine, filled with the new spirit and vitality of a village that is rapidly "changing its skin" every day. Previously, people in the commune only cared about farming, trading, and simple production, but since implementing the program on building new rural areas, people have known how to take care of their houses, gardens, village roads, and alleys, not only to keep them neat but also clean and beautiful.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tien, Khanh Hoi village, Tri Hai commune (Ninh Hai) shared: More than 10 years ago, Tri Hai commune was still a locality facing many difficulties, with difficult traffic. But now, most of the inter-village roads have been paved and cleaned. Solid houses are gradually replacing dilapidated, makeshift houses, people's lives have improved significantly, the economy is growing, so many people have come to Tri Hai to invest and live, which is also our common joy.

Nhon Hai new rural commune.

Up to now, the whole Tri Hai commune has over 30km of asphalt and concrete roads, reaching 100%, 5/5 villages meeting the standards according to regulations on traffic criteria. 99.4% of households use electricity, 100% of households use clean and hygienic water. Rural infrastructure is gradually invested in construction, trade and services are developed. On the roads and alleys, electricity is installed and suitable trees are planted, creating a bright - green - clean - beautiful rural landscape.

Coming to Vinh Hai commune (Ninh Hai) these days, people feel the new rhythm of life from the achievements of building a new rural area in the commune. The roads are wide, clean, beautiful, airy with green grape vines, heavy with fruit and flowers competing to show their bright colors; rows of new, spacious houses; expanded traffic routes, convenient for people's travel and production, the material and spiritual life of Vinh Hai commune people is improving day by day. Up to now, more than 93% of workers have jobs; electricity, roads, schools, stations meet standards, 100% of residential houses meet standards. The political system is consolidated; security and national defense are ensured. Besides, in Vinh Hai, there are many households growing grapes, they establish cooperatives to do business together, share experiences. Thanks to growing grapes, many households earn billions of VND/year.

Mr. Nguyen Khac Phong, Director of Thai An General Agricultural Service Cooperative, Vinh Hai Commune (Ninh Hai), shared: Recently, in addition to purely growing grapes, local people have developed a business model of visiting vineyards combined with selling grape products. Thanks to that, income is increasingly stable, improving the living standards of our people.

In Nhon Hai commune, a locality that reached the NTM target in 2021 and is in the process of building an advanced NTM, Mr. Le Van Phi, Chairman of Nhon Hai Commune People's Committee, said: The breakthrough here is to promote the application of science and technology in agricultural production and develop family economic households, and develop service industries. Up to now, there are 3 cooperatives operating effectively in the commune, such as: Khanh Nhon Salt Cooperative, Ba Hung Agricultural Cooperative, Nhon Hai Purple Onion Agricultural Cooperative. Service and trade industries in the commune are increasingly diverse, meeting the production, business and consumption needs of the people. By the end of 2022, the multidimensional poverty rate in the commune will be 4.17%.

The whole Ninh Hai district currently has 14 villages meeting the NTM standards and 1 Khanh Hoi village meeting the model NTM standards. With the attention of all levels and sectors, Ninh Hai district is joining hands and striving to meet the advanced NTM standards and model NTM standards according to the set roadmap.
