Unique gifts at university graduation ceremonies

On the morning of June 23, the University of Commerce held a graduation ceremony for 342 final year students (course 57).

Bachelor Le Hai Anh (Faculty of International Economics ) happily received her excellent graduation certificate. Today, both her parents came to attend the graduation ceremony and congratulate her.

Today is also the day when friends and relatives of the new graduates gather in the school yard to take souvenir photos. Student Hoang Thi Huyen beamed when she received a special gift from her close friend, a bouquet of lychees. "These are lychees grown at my friend's house. She picked them herself and tied them up to give to me, so I feel extremely happy and special," Huyen said with a smile.

Dang Quang Ngoc (right) was also surprised to receive a bag of lychees as a graduation gift from his best friend. "My friend said that each season has its own fruit, so when we received the gift, we both burst out laughing," Ngoc shared.

Mai Trung Hai received a special gift of a case of beer from his friends on the occasion of his graduation. The young man said that this is an important occasion, marking the maturity of students after graduation, so today he will drink with friends until he is "drunk".

Ngoc Anh (middle) received a gift of a parallel sentence on this occasion with the content about the next journey being smooth sailing: "With a degree, having a husband is not a dream - A bright career, the future is unexpected".

Many groups also prepared humorous banners to give to new graduates.

Le Hai Anh received a humorous banner from her friend. "I saw that everyone prepared many unique accessories for graduation day. I was very surprised when my close friends also gave me this humorous banner today," said the new graduate.
