On the evening of April 27, Le Van Hoang (26 years old, living in Tan Binh district, Ho Chi Minh City) and 5 friends went to Ninh Thuan. After about 3 days of having fun at the beaches and famous places, the group will continue to Da Lat, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.

With a 5-day holiday, Hoang thinks this is an ideal opportunity to rest and relax after tiring working hours.
“We traveled by motorbike from Ho Chi Minh City, following the coastal road to see the scenery. I had already made a list of places I wanted to stop at,” Hoang shared with Tri Thuc - Znews.
A vacation to 2-3 locations
April 30 - May 1 is one of the longest holidays of the year. This is also the ideal time to visit many tourist destinations across the country. At the end of April, the weather is dry, the destinations have not entered the rainy season or the harsh summer sun, favorable for sightseeing and experiencing activities.
During this time, many young people decide to plan long-term travel. However, instead of just having fun in one city, they choose to constantly move around to explore many places. This year, the high price of airfares and the rise of personal vehicles are also factors that influence the decision to visit many places at the same time.
Like Van Hoang's group, on the first day of the trip, they planned to go to Phan Rang - Thap Cham city, visit Cham tower and will stop at Nai lagoon in the afternoon of the same day.
On the second day, the group left early to go to Mui Dinh lighthouse to watch the sunrise, then went to eat Banh Can Ca Kho - a specialty of Ninh Thuan. In the afternoon, the group visited Ninh Chu beach, explored the fishing village, watched the sunset, and took photos at Dam Vua salt field.

On the third day, the group of young people spent a whole day visiting Nui Chua National Park, Hang Rai, visiting the beautiful Vinh Hy Bay and enjoying the fresh seafood here.
“With a shared interest in film photography, we spend a lot of time traveling, ‘hunting’ for photos, and exploring the culture and cuisine at our destinations. This season, with blue sea and golden sunshine, the whole group will definitely be able to capture many beautiful photos, especially on the coastal road of Ca Na Ninh Thuan,” Hoang shared. The male tourist added that because he has relatives in Phan Rang city, the group does not have to worry about accommodation during the crowded holiday season.
On the last two days of the holiday, Hoang's group will arrive in Da Lat. The journey is expected to be quite long in the hot April weather, so the group will flexibly rest along the way and leave early to avoid being affected by the harsh sunlight.
“We hope that Da Lat will be less crowded at the end of the holiday. The group will just take the opportunity to rest, enjoy the peace at Hon Bo, a suburb of Da Lat, and enjoy the delicious food here,” said Hoang. The male tourist said that he and his friends were very excited because it was difficult for the whole group to arrange a trip together like this.

With new highways in operation and a series of beautiful routes connecting many provinces and cities, traveling by self-sufficient means has become more convenient than ever, especially for those who want to continuously explore many locations.
Hai Duong (26 years old, living in Ho Chi Minh City) and his girlfriend will also have a 3-day, 2-night trip, including 2 stopover provinces: Ba Ria - Vung Tau (BRVT) and Binh Thuan.
Duong said the first destination of the trip was Phuoc Hai fishing village (Dat Do district, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province). Not wanting to squeeze into famous tourist cities that always attract visitors like Vung Tau city or Da Lat, the young couple chose to explore the peaceful small fishing village, enjoy seafood, drive along the coastal road to Ho Tram beach, then continue to Lagi town (Ham Tan district, Binh Thuan province) and stay overnight here.
The next day, Duong planned to visit Ke Ga lighthouse, immerse himself in the peaceful, rustic life of the locals at Lagi fishing port, enjoy the specialties and continue his journey to Phan Thiet city.
“We will spend a whole day and a night exploring this beautiful coastal city,” Duong said.
The male tourist said that the couple usually do not plan or schedule their trips in detail. Instead, they will use their free time to search for suggested destinations on social media and visit them depending on their inspiration. Duong said that he only spends 3 days of his vacation traveling, and the remaining days he will rest before returning to work.
Take extra days off to travel more
Not taking many short trips during the year, some young people accept taking extra leave to extend their vacation, fully enjoying the trip instead of just traveling for 5 days as planned.
Duy Thanh (IT specialist, living in Hue) chose to take two more days off on May 2 and 3 to travel alone by motorbike from Hue to Ho Chi Minh City. The male tourist said that he did not have too much work at the moment, so he could take a few more days off without affecting his schedule.
From Hue City, Thanh drove and admired the beauty of many cities such as Da Nang, Hoi An, Quy Nhon, and finally stopped in Phu Yen. On the way, the male tourist will flexibly book a room depending on the expected arrival time.
“The trip is expected to last 9 days, of which 4 days will be spent traveling, the remaining 5 days I will visit friends and relax after tiring working days,” Thanh said.
Coming to Ho Chi Minh City on the occasion of April 30, besides visiting friends and relatives, Duy Thanh plans to visit the Independence Palace to relive the heroic atmosphere of the nation's reunification day, then he will go to a coffee shop, take photos around the city, enjoy street food, and experience some new tourism products.
On the way back, the male tourist plans to visit the coastal city of Nha Trang and some other places.

Meanwhile, Trinh Ngoc Chau (27 years old, living in Ho Chi Minh City) decided to visit the capital Hanoi on the first day of the vacation, then he and his close friends had fun on the pristine Ngoc Vung island in Quang Ninh province, after which he will travel to Ninh Binh.
“I am also quite hesitant to travel during the holidays because I am afraid of crowds, but this is a rare time when everyone has time off, so the group still decided to take the trip and prioritize choosing deserted locations,” Chau said.
He and his friends will visit famous tourist attractions and enjoy Hanoi cuisine on April 26 and 27. Next, the group of 6 people will take a bus to Co To wharf, move to Ngoc Vung island to have fun and avoid the heat.
After that, the male tourist continued to enjoy his vacation in Ninh Binh with his high school friends. "They also decided to take 2 more days off to visit Trang An and Tam Coc - Bich Dong together," he shared.
Chau said that his group rarely plans their trips in detail. They usually book rooms in advance and have fun activities on a whim, as long as they have time to have fun together.
