Vo Nhai: Commencement and support for housing construction for meritorious people and martyrs' relatives

On May 30, Vo Nhai district organized a groundbreaking ceremony and presented financial support for the construction and repair of houses for policy families, people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs in Lau Thuong commune. Attending were Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of Vo Nhai district and sponsors.

The People's Committee of Vo Nhai district organized a groundbreaking ceremony to build a house for the family of Mr. Tran Trung Khoa, born in 1951, in Lang Hang hamlet. Mr. Khoa participated in the liberation of the South and fought to protect the Fatherland at the southwestern border (from 1971 to 1984), and was a war invalid with 31% health loss. Here, Ms. To Thi Phuong, Director of Hong Kong Beauty Salon (No. 51 Hang Ga, Hanoi ) presented support funds to Mr. Tran Trung Khoa and 6 other policy families in Lau Thuong commune with a total amount of 1 billion VND.

Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Loan and delegates started construction of a new house for the family of war invalid Tran Trung Khoa, in Lang Hang hamlet, Lau Thuong commune (Vo Nhai).

On this occasion, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Loan also visited and presented gifts to 7 families with revolutionary contributions in Lau Thuong commune.

This is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", the gratitude of the whole society to those who have contributed to the revolution; contributing to improving living conditions for policy families in Vo Nhai district.

Ms. To Thi Phuong, Director of Hong Kong Beauty Salon, gave support to repair and build new houses for 7 families with revolutionary contributions in Lau Thuong commune.

Vo Nhai district has over 1,300 people with revolutionary contributions, currently over 450 people are still living and receiving monthly social benefits. After a review in 2025, in the district there are still 56 families of people with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives who need housing support. To date, 36 households have started building houses; the remaining households will continue to start building new houses and repairing houses in the coming time.
